The two-week stay in Chicago for the collection of information for The New City book concludes with satisfaction due to the results. From here, Plácido González wishes to thank the staff of the libraries from the Illinois Institute of Technology and the Art Institute of Chicago for their kind attention and good will. His knowledgeable contributions and curious concern enriched certainly the work.

Also would like to thank to those who have helped to make the stay more productive: interviews with teachers Peter Osler, George Schipporeit, Kevin Harrington and Robert Bruegmann have served to shed light on important aspects of the work of Hilberseimer as an urban planner and professor in Chicago. Similarly, the conversation with the young researcher Andrew Dubin has brought a renewed vision of Chicago as ecology, which has been of great interest.

Of course, who offered him their hospitality in Chicago: Xavier Vendrell, Sarah Lopez, Chesney Floyd and Jesse Vogler. And especially, last but not least, Xavier Llobet and Ribeiro, an expert on the work of Hilberseimer, who has not only enriched the work with an extensive and fruitful exchange of ideas, but has offered expert advice revealing high utility.
