Grupo Aranea is to be congratulated!

The Casa Lude has just received the AR Housing Award 2013, a significant international recognition promoted by the publication The Architectural Review. The jury was composed by Francisco Aries Mateu, Takaharu Tezuka, Amanda Levete and Catherine Slessor. This new comes just two days after knowing that Architecture Plus Awards include El Valle Trenzado of Elche among its 26 finalists, in the architectural category of Public Spaces and Infrastructure, and the Casa Lude, in the architectural category of Public and Private Housing.

Architecture Plus Awards are alternately hold in Barcelona and Madrid and gather the most prestigious architectural firms and studios of the current national scene. Among the finalists are also two works by Maria Gonzalez and Juan Lopez / Sol89, fellows coming from the Architecture School of Seville (ETSAS), something that gives us great joy. The voting ceremony and presentation of these awards will take place on Thursday June 13th 2013 in Barcelona. The jury was composed by Fredy Massad, architect and journalist  at ¿btbW/Architecture; José G. Osorio, director of Way Vía Construcción and A+; Marc Chalamanch, architect of Archikubik; Óscar Guayabero, curator, journalist and editor; and Mariona Benain, architect and president of AJAC.
