The Casa Lude project, located in Cehegín (Murcia), made by the multidisciplinary team Grupo Aranea, has been nominated for Mies van der Rohe Award, the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture.
Grupo Aranea had been nominated in 2011 for the IS of El Rafal. The single nomination for this award is a well deserved recognition that gives us great joy. Congratulations and good luck in the final verdict!
Taking advantage of this opportunity, we would like to share some words by Juan Antonio Ludeña, the owner of the house, approaching us the inhabitant vision in a beautiful and singular text that we, as editors, greatly value. Casa Lude is one of the many projects we will include in the book Passable Orographies.
