We would like to express our gratitude to the collective Platoniq, creators of Goteo open source Platform of which our book-allow section is a branch or a fork. We are very pleased to have incorporated the DNA of Goteo into book-a as it is a project with which we share many of the same ambitions and interests, aside from code and developer ;-)
If some of you are unfamiliar with it, Goteo is a crowd funding platform focused on open code projects that share knowledge, processes, results, responsibilities and/or benefits. From a philosophy of commons, it favours collective empowerment and the creation of shared resources. Goteo operates under AGPL license, which is a copyleft license derived from the GNU General Public License, and is specifically designed to ensure community cooperation when it comes to software running on network servers. Book-allow is also licensed under AGPL.
